Spring is in the air, the birds are chirping, the grass is turning green again, and you are longing for a relaxing and fun-filled vacation. As an entrepreneur, you may feel like you cannot leave your business or it will fall apart. Am I right?
Well, depending on how you have it structured, your business may fall apart, but your social doesn’t have to. Thanks to some amazing software created by the team at Zuckerberg, Inc.(Facebook), you can now plan for your scheduled vacation with your family, and still stay in touch with your fans, and never even have to touch a computer while you are away.
You might be asking yourself, “how on earth can I stay in touch with my fans, and never even touch a computer while I am away?” It’s simple really, Facebook has something called the Facebook scheduler. Let me give you a quick and simple tutorial about how this works.
- Look for the clock icon in the lower-left of the status sharing tool on your page
- Choose the year/month/day/time when you want the post to appear
- Click on the schedule button
It really is that simple. You can schedule posts up to six months in advance. The only caution I would give is to keep an account of what you have scheduled in this tool. The reason you want to do this is in case there are some events in the news that would conflict with your post. In a day and age when political agenda’s and the news can alter people’s emotions, you don’t want to have something post that is “off-putting” to your fan base.
Also, be clear about your message and what your fans need from you. You can use this tool even when you are not on vacation, as it really can free up your time as an entrepreneur that is also committed to having a life outside of your business. This tool is so easy, you could probably even have your kids schedule your posts for you.
